I’m an independent OPTAVIA Coach here is my story In March of 2016 I retired from a 27 year career in Law Enforcement and was morbidly obese. I knew if I wanted to improve my quality of living and extend my retirement years, it was time to stop making excuses and finally address, my health. On "Monday" March 21st, 2016 I began Day 1 of MY healthy journey at an official starting weight of 341.3 pounds. I dropped 16 pounds in the first week, 31 pounds in the first month and 100 pounds in the first four months. Ultimately I lost 156.5 pounds in just 10 months. Regarding Non Scale Victories, I was now able to bend over to tie my shoes, sit comfortably in a restaurant booth, in an airplane seat with out a seat belt extender and even ride roller coasters, some for the first time ever.
